Dear all Bronies who watch me...

I'm a Brony.

Once upon a time that meant something.

That meant that while some people looked at me strange, others looked at me with respect. Because I belonged to a group of people who care, who are kind, who do what they can to help the world, or even their small little community.

Now...

Now I have to sit down with them and explain.

"No, we're not all like that."

"I don't honestly understand why they act like little brats."

"I'm not that weird, I just like the show."

"Yes... yes, sometimes I am ashamed..."

Because have you seen what we've turned into? A group of little brats who do nothing but whine when they don't get their way! Who yell at the writers for doing things they don't automatically approve of, even though they've made it this far into the series and still have the group going strong!

We get pissed, and annoyed, and act like what we say matters when we complain.

Our actions used to be what mattered, our hearts used to be what mattered.

Not getting a shout-out from the writers...

Sure, we have our factions. But have the cloppers ever hurt anyone? Have they ever complained? Have they ever actually done any damage?

Maybe.

But not nearly as much as the majority of the "bronies" have.

Maybe we should give things a chance before we start complaining about them. Maybe we should show what the magic of friendship really mean. Maybe we should get off our lazy asses and make sure people stop judging us based on what show we like! Shouldn't we make that documentary true?!
